FAQs
WHAT IS A MENTOR OR MENTEE?
A mentor is a trusted advisor or guide and a mentee is the recipient of knowledge and learning from the trusted advisor. Mentorship is a necessary part of the learning cycle. Teacher to student, student becomes teacher to another.
WHAT REWARDS CAN YOU GET?
Our mentors go through an application process and are selected or recruited to the program based out of character, merit and achievement. We seek high-potential athletes who see value in the chance to play a major role in the development and success of others. Mentors gain access to private educational events, network and resources that can drive their personal development.
WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM DO?
The athlete mentor program focuses on supporting athlete development through all of our resources. These include webinars, coaching services, personal branding and more for our mentors.
WHAT IS THE TIME REQUIREMENT TO BE A MENTOR?
Not much time is asked of you! A mentor just needs to be there as a guide for their mentee. The mission of our program is for athletes who need a better support system to get that. We have found that quality of life, mental health, and network improve when you have a mentor.
HOW DO I APPLY?
To apply to become a Mentor or a Mentee, you can hit the “Get Started” button at the top of our page and fill out the form or reach out to us on Instagram @mindpowerfound or @theathletementor. You will then go through our interview and peer review process to become accepted.
