MINDPOWER

Three years ago a famous entrepreneur did a keynote about the next generation of leaders, the future of our nation and the world. I was in shock by the confident predictions and reality he was living in and the proof he was showing for the projections of the world. All of this, pre-Covid, pre-pandemic, pre-recession, pre-current-day 2022 recession, inflation everything.

You’re probably thinking well what does this have to do with mental health?! His primary point in 2019 was prepare for tough times. His second main point was for the future of the world, he spends 75% of his focus and attention teaching, coaching and helping prepare and build our youth for the future. That was the reality he was living in as a billionaire. I should follow-suit right? I started to focus all of my energy into my own personal development at age 21 with the mission to make an impact and set the stage for an entire generation after me and alongside me to heal and fix the worlds problems. I had a newfound purpose and no time to waste.

Shortly after MindPower launched in January 2020 at our launch party, COVID struck, depression and suicide, social isolation had all struck. The worst fear of the 2018-2019 predictions for the future were here and MindPower only just began its mission, and had minimal impact, no tools or funding to help make the difference and provide mental health support during this time.

It was understood during this time that there was no quick fix, or short-term fast development that could be made to change the scope of mental healthcare in the world right then and there. However, what could be done in the span of 3-5 years was huge. Here I am three years later, MindPower has launched its fully functional site, podcast, blog, brand store, donations and giving opportunities, mental health education courses, and very soon, therapy that can be provided from the comfort of one’s home.

MindPower is a platform for sustainable change, a non-profit to make the most impact possible. Should a corporation make over one billion profit to offer mental health care and therapy? No, nobody should gain a profit from the suffering of others.

I hope that MindPower can be the change that is needed. The world needs it.
