Using Your Surroundings

When we feel alone and hopeless is the most important time to remember who is there for us. This could be your family. Friends. Even your pet - dog, cat, fish, you name it. There is someone out there that loves you and will never not love you.

I don’t have a pet, but my plants are a really close second. They make me feel valued when I don’t find that in other places. I have to water them, trim them, and because this is a safe space, I’ll admit that I talk to them.

The point here is that no matter what, we are never truly alone. This can be very, very hard to remember. It might not make sense for us sometimes, and that’s okay. But if you’re able, remember who’s really in your corner, because they will never leave you.
