Music Liberates the Mind. It has the power to help nurture Emotions like no other. It is the Soundtrack to Most People’s Lives including mine. According to studies, listening to music can enhance memory, mood, sleep quality, and mental clarity while lowering anxiety, blood pressure, and discomfort. It can help eliminate depression and doubt as well as help boost confidence and bring positivity and joy. Music is like the color Blue. Blue is a symbol of the sky and the ocean and is connected to open spaces, freedom, intuition, creativity, and sensitivity. Music stimulates the neocortex of our brain because of its rhythmic and repeated elements. It can provide a world inside the mind that may set you free from stress even if it’s just for 3 minutes. It can take you so deep into your thoughts at times that you forget your name. It can temporarily block outside burdens that can at times be overwhelming in life. Music is as necessary to the world as Water is. It is food for the thoughts. Whether your thoughts are healthy or not depends on the food you feed them. My Mind has Become Dependent on music.
